Blog of the Week

And the blog of the week is........... (drum roll PLEASE!)

This blog is a great encouragement to me. This woman and her husband have adopted 3 boys, named Josiah, Ellis and Aidan, from Asia and have raised them as their own. Then she had an adorable little baby blonde named Bennett. She constantly praises our Savior for his blessings. She even admits her own faults and works on amending them. Not only that but she is as southern as you get!

Please take the time to read this wonderful blog!

As I am sewing a green and blue baby quilt this week and probably the next, I have decided to have a color week. So, the color of the week is (drum roll please!) Green!

Sara Bareilles - Love Song

my solution to this is listen to the song again and again. Then listen to another song. It works!
Hope you enjoy this song!

Happy Mother's Day!

An Ode to Mother's in General and Mine in particular:

I learned about love from you,
Watching your caring ways.
I learned from you the joy of Christ
in your actions everyday.

From you I learned forgiving
Of faults both big and small.
I learned what I know about living
From you, as you gave life your all.

The example you set is still with me
I'd never want any other.
I'm thankful for all that you taught me,
And I'm blessed to call you "Mother."

Dreaming in Polaroid

Dear Faithful Readers, Sorry for the large amount of time between posts.

My sister Beth recently discovered, on one of her Garage Sale-ing trips, an old polaroid instant camera for $2. Awesome huh? We have ordered film and will soon be doing experiments with this wonderful thing called polaroid. Yay! See you all in that faded, grainy, and wonderful world!
